To keep operations efficient and flexible, we utilise an Avant loader to handle fertiliser loading. This allows us to access a wide range of load sites, helping jobs run smoothly from start to finish.
Using Tabula technology for precision placement, we can ensure fertiliser is applied accurately. Our spreading capability also includes aerial seeding application, helping support pasture and crop establishment when required.
LIFTING
Helicopter lifting can be a practical solution when access is difficult or time is limited. We assist farmers, contractors and rural businesses with lifting and transporting equipment and supplies to those hard to reach locations.
From fencing materials and water tanks to building supplies and general farm equipment, we provide a safe and efficient way to move loads across hill country and remote areas. Every job is carefully planned to ensure safe lifting operations and smooth delivery to site.
FROST PROTECTION
Frosts can pose a real risk to vineyards across Hawke’s Bay, particularly during critical growth stages. Aerial frost protection helps reduce frost damage by circulating warmer air above the vineyard and mixing it with colder air at ground level, helping lift temperatures around sensitive vines.
At J&S Heli, we work closely with vineyard managers to provide timely and reliable frost protection. We can respond quickly and cover vineyard blocks efficiently during frost events.

PART 137 & 135
J&S Heli operates under Civil Aviation Authority certifications that enable us to carry out both agricultural and passenger operations. With Part 137 agricultural aviation certification and Part 135 air transport operations, we are able to provide a wide range of services.
